With the collection “My Jeans” Angelo Verga introduces in his works the act of undressing.
It is an action that touches the sphere of sensuality through poetry of matter. The artist slips out of his blue jeans in order to bring them back to life in jewellery. Verga breaks his denim by bringing it messed, he shelves ductility and roughness of the own jeans and inserts feelings that amaze the viewer.
In this series of works the eye is captured by silver details and the freshness of the fabric while the touch is stimulated by the finely polished surfaces.
In summary Verga hides passion and poetry beneath frozen resin fibers.
