Biography

(Fuensanta-Albacete, 1964). She lives and works in Barcelona. She has studied Jewellery at Escola Massana in Barcelona. Since 1987 her work has been shown in many exhibitions of contemporaneous jewelleryin and outside our country, as Germany, United States of America, Holland, Belgium, Italy, France and Portugal, as well as part of private collections. From 1992 she designs, makes and distributes her own commercial work in several spanish and european cities. From 1993 to 1995 she joined the Directive staff from d’Orfebres FAD (Barcelona), and was cofounder of the International Competition Enjoia’t of Contemporaneous Jewellery, participating also as a member of the jury in different competitions. She sets up with other jewelers, groups as Local D, and Col.lectiu Al Ras, with the idea to draw up cooperation ways between different artists. In 2003 she creates and runs Galeria Amarantojoies (Barcelona), specialized in Contemporaneous Jewellery. She won in 2008 the Prize for her career, Premi a la Trajectòria Professional of the Department de Dissenyadors of the Col.legi Oficial de Joiers and Rellotgers (Barcelona). Her work has been mentioned in several specialized publications.
