LLIGAMS. Més enllà de la joia

Coinciding with JOYA'21 International Exhibition of Contemporary Jewelry held annually in Barcelona, Context gallery presents LLIGAMS. Més enllà de la joia, with a selection of the works of ELENA COMÍN and LLUÍS COMÍN.

"The word "lligams" has to do with the ties that bind us to things and people, these ties can "enslave" or "caress" us gently to remind us where we come from and to look to the future with a deposit of tradition. Parts that we are the result of a need to communicate our feelings and create "links" and involvement with the carrier piece. It is clear that we consider jewelry with total freedom in both concept and material, it is our way of expressing ourselves artistically. We vindicate the work with our hands that binds them to our history. Ties of profession and also family ... in our workshop everything is mixed ... in a way this exhibition is a modest tribute to our father and grandfather who was the instigator of who we are.
